Area Business Development Manager

An important role of the position is identifying business
opportunities by conducting analysis and
recommending/implementing solutions leading to sustainable long
term contracts. The position affords significant opportunity to
work cross-functionally throughout Capex International Corp. as
well as with partners at all global locations on export/import
activities. Some of the responsibilities of this position are to
perform cash flow, budgets, budget variances analyzes; to
schedule pick-up, loading, delivery of ocean cargo; analyze
shipping schedules and logistical operations to optimize
deliveries and ultimately provide our customers with the
fastest, most reliable transactions.
Job Requirements
1. Strong working knowledge of the following:
- Japanese Import/Export
Regulations
- Foreign Trade Statistics
- U.S. Export Administration Regulations
- Asian markets structures
2. Knowledge of Japanese export
regulations as implemented by the Japanese Ministry of Economy,
Trade, and Industry a strong plus but not required
3. Significant experience developing, implementing, and managing
an international trade business
4. Minimum 5 years experience in export/import business
5. Experience with high-volume, high-value trading transactions
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with
Japanese fluency
7. Competency in all levels of computer skills, including
database management
8. Minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree
